Using the dashboard
Inspect balances, usage, feature prices, and API keys in the Credit app.
Choose the workspace and application you want to inspect. Every view uses the selected application, so Development activity does not appear in Production.
Overview
Choose a credit and reporting period to see consumption by feature, spending by identity, wallet counts, balances, and recent charges. Different credit types stay separate. A credit valuation in your SDK config does not turn these reports into fiat revenue.
Usage counts refer to recorded billing events. A request that batches 1,000 units is one event, with a quantity of 1,000. A period-deduplicated use can appear with a zero charge.
Wallets
Search for an identity to inspect the customer's balances. Open a wallet to see daily consumption by feature, usage events, and top-up history. The detail view supports credit selection and 7, 30, or 90-day reporting periods.
Use Add credits in the wallet detail view to add credits manually. For grants or payment fulfillment in your application, use topup with a stable idempotency key.
Activity charts use UTC dates. Daily active wallets have usage on that date. Monthly active wallets have usage in the trailing 30 calendar days, including that date. A deposit alone does not count as activity.
That rolling activity metric differs from a feature that charges once per UTC calendar month. The feature's rule determines its charges. See usage periods.
Plans and Stripe
Open Plans to connect Stripe and refresh the connection status after onboarding. Create or edit a recurring price, currency, and monthly or yearly billing interval. Add recurring credit grants, choose whether paid top-ups are allowed, and adjust feature prices as a percentage of their catalog price. Feature allowance rows set included units, a reset period, and a rule for excess usage. Save to queue Stripe synchronization; retry sync from the row if it fails.
Archived plans cannot accept new subscriptions. Price or allowance edits create a new version. Existing subscriptions keep their terms until a plan change.
Wallet subscription details show recurring credit grants, feature price multipliers, paid top-up eligibility, and each feature's used units, included limit, remaining allowance, and period end. Inactive subscription allowances are marked unavailable.
In a wallet, create a Subscription checkout, Paid top-up, or Billing portal link. Enter return URLs for your customer-facing application, then copy the generated link for that customer. The portal link grants access to their billing account, so keep it private. If subscription checkout is already pending, use View checkout link to reopen it. Recover checkout link retries the original request when its response was interrupted. A payment awaiting Stripe confirmation prevents creating a second subscription checkout.
Use Change plan to move to the latest version of a plan. A change that needs payment remains visible with a payment link or billing portal fallback; the current plan continues until payment succeeds. Cancel renewal schedules cancellation at the end of the paid period; Keep active removes that scheduled cancellation. Subscriptions and payments explains the payment and quota behavior.
Credits and features
The catalog pages show credit definitions and feature pricing, including quantity rates and usage counting rules. Manage definitions with the SDK config and CLI or the HTTP API.
A callback feature shows that its amount comes from your server. Read individual usage records to inspect the amount actually charged.
Developers
Use API keys to issue and revoke application-scoped secrets. The setup and ingestion examples show your deployment's HTTP URL. Follow authentication to choose permissions.
Report freshness and limits
Balances and ledger history update immediately after a successful write. Summary charts update shortly afterward, so a new charge can appear in a wallet before it reaches the charts.
If a report shows an incomplete-data notice or a ≥ prefix, treat that total as a lower bound. Narrow the period or inspect paginated wallet activity when investigating a charge. An incomplete summary does not mean ledger entries are missing.
