# Watch your catalog

Redeploy when your config or its local imports change.

Run the CLI in watch mode while editing your catalog:

```sh
pnpm exec orbyte dev
```

The command deploys immediately, generates types, and watches `orbyte.config.ts` and its local imports. Each change triggers another deployment. Press `Ctrl+C` to stop watching.

Watch mode uses the same [deployment behavior](/cli/deploy) and [options](/cli) as `deploy`. Preview changes without applying them with `pnpm exec orbyte dev --dry-run`.

If a deployment fails, the CLI prints the error and keeps watching. Correct the config to trigger another attempt.
